CP autosport constantly stocks a broad range of cold-drawn tubes of the material 1.7734/15CDV6 and a large variety of sheet-metal. In a joint venture with one of the largest European steel producers, the seamless tubes are manufactured for CP autosport, exclusively. The air-quenched tubes comply with international standards and can be traced back to their original batches. Aside from an extensive standard range, we also offer customized measurements, as well as profiled cross-sections (aero profiles) upon request.

1.7734 is a high strength easily weldable steel that can be welded with no risk of cracking or weld weakness without pre or post weld heat teatment in the fully heat treated condition. This makes it ideal for more complicated structures.

The properties of the 1.7734/15CDV6 material offer high yield strength combined with excellent weldability. Welding can be achieved without subsequent heat treatment and with negligible loss of properties.

1.7734 is chromium-molybdenum-vanadium structural steel. The material has good bending performance and excellent weldability, toughness, consistency and resistance to fatique derived from the high level of micro cleanliness.
